Adventure Poland : Canoeing Holidays in PolandDownload Canoe Hire Booking Form (pdf) or contact us for Booking Form (in MS Word format) Adventure Poland hire canoes and kayaks by the day for self-guided short or extended tours and organise guided canoe expeditions in the picturesque provinces of Lubuskie and Wielkopolskie. We can provide and deliver canoes and kayaks anywhere along the course of the River Obra, River Paklica, River Warta and River Notec or on any of the many wonderful lakes in the Lubuskie Lake District. Whatever your canoe or kayak needs and requirements in the west of Poland, Adventure Poland can probably help! If you want to undertake an extended canoe camping tour, we can supply you with everything you might need for an exciting adventure activity holiday in western Poland. The range of equipment we have available for hire includes: open canoes, touring kayaks, sit-on-top kayaks, tents, camp cooking equipment, sleeping mats, and compact fishing equipment. We can also arrange fishing licences, help arrange suitable campsites or accommodation, and even arrange for a driver to pick you up from and drop you off at nearby airports in Berlin, Szczecin, and/or Poznań. And if you have any questions or problems during your stay we are only a phone call away! The River Obra is a great place to take a canoeing vacation. It offers more than 150 kilometres of canoe touring along a changing river and through the crystal clear lakes of the Lubuskie Lake District. Touring on the river Obra canoe trail offers spectacular and unspoilt scenery, access to abundant wildlife and birdlife, a number of places of interest en route, and a chance to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life. The route takes you through wonderful unspoilt countryside and forests, rich in all kinds of wildlife. There are several basic campsites along the route or if you are feeling adventurous and really want to get back to nature, just pitch your tent in a quiet spot beside the river for the night! Alternatively you might like to book into one of the Polish B&B guest houses along the route of the river. Unless you are an experienced canoeist, we recommend that you do not attempt more than 10-15 kilometres per day. A typical two or three day leisurely canoe trip might start off on the Obra river, near the historic town of Miedzyrzecz, take you though to Bledzew and end in Skwierzyna. A week long trip might start on the lake in Babimost, Zbaszyn or Trzciel, follow the course of the Obra, and end on the river Warta. The Obra canoe trail is a wonderful place to relax and learn something about this little known part of Poland. See also: photos of canoe and kayaks and of the River Obra and countryside. We can also provide, deliver and pick-up canoes and kayaks for use on any of the many picturesque lakes in our part of the west of Poland - Bledzew, Lagow, Lubikowo, Lubniewice, Pszczew; or the Warta, Notec, Paklica, and Drawa rivers.
